Jill Senner

Jill E. Senner, PhD, CCC-SLP

Jill is an ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children with complex communication needs. She is the owner and director of Technology and Language Center where she specializes in providing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services via telepractice. Dr. Senner has presented over one hundred lectures on AAC topics online and around the world, has published research articles and textbook chapters on AAC, and is an adjunct professor of speech-language pathology.

Matthew Baud

Matthew R. Baud, MS, CCC-SLP

Matthew is an ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist who has been working with AAC for over 15 years. He currently is the Assistive Technology Coordinator at Niles Township District for Special Education (NTDSE) performing evaluations, trainings and coaching communication partners. Matthew also has his own AAC private practice working with individuals with complex communication needs from birth through adulthood. He is an adjunct professor¹at Saint Xavier University where he teaches a graduate course in AAC and has presented at national and state conferences. Matthew has published research in the areas of AAC.

Amanda Giles Vazquez

Amanda Giles Vazquez, MS, CCC-SLP

Amanda Giles Vazquez, MS, CCC-SLP is a Puerto Rican, Spanish/English-speaking speech-language pathologist. Amanda’s professional journey has led her to gain expertise in AAC, recognizing its transformative impact on individuals with complex communication needs. Her commitment to improving the lives of her clients is rooted in her strong belief that effective communication is a fundamental human right. Amanda is skilled in providing bilingual assessments and treatment in Spanish and English for linguistically and culturally diverse clients.

Julia Cygnar, M.S., CCC-SLP

Julia Cygnar, MS, CCC-SLP

Julia is an ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist. Julia’s experience includes providing direct therapy services in English and Spanish, training parents/caregivers and school staff about AAC use and best practices, conducting assistive technology trials and administering assessments in English and Spanish with students in the public schools. Julia has had the honor of working with individuals who have a wide range of strengths and needs, and that utilize many forms of communication. Julia realized that she had a passion for AAC during graduate school and early in her career. Her approach is rooted in compassion and patience, ensuring that every individual receives the support and tools they need to express themselves confidently, effectively and with autonomy.

Elyse

Elyse Szymanski, MS, CCC-SLP

Elyse is an ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist focusing on AAC for individuals with complex communication needs. She has experience in private practice, medical, early intervention, and education settings; providing coaching and training to staff and parents/caregivers; and conducting dynamic AAC assessments and trials through a team based-approach. Elyse currently works in a public special education district with students who have a variety of access and communication needs.

Heather Miller Schwarz, MS, CCC-SLP

Heather is an ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals with complex communication needs. She has had experiences in public school, private practice and non-profit settings and has participated as a member of IEP and assistive technology teams. Currently, she is an Assistive Technology Lead for Collaborations and Trainings at UCP Seguin- Infinitec where she collaborates with IEP teams to provide augmentative and alternative communication support through student assessment and communication partner training and coaching. Heather also presents at local and national conferences.
